About Acre
Our happy place
Tucked into the foothills of San José del Cabo, Acre is an oasis surrounded by lush palms, organic farmland, and the natural beauty of the Baja desert. From treehouses hidden among the palms and lantern lit orchards to agave covered hills and its Michelin Green Star restaurant.
One of the most special parts of Acre is the incredible family of animals that call this place home. As you wander the grounds, you'll find donkeys, peacocks, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, horses, rabbits, and, of course, plenty of adoptable dogs.
We can’t wait to share this special place with all of you and hope you discover the same beauty and charm in Acre, just as we have.

Getting There
Fly into Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), with service from major airlines including Delta, American, United, Southwest, and more.
Airport & Transfers
For airport arrivals, we recommend booking a private transfer through Cabo Airport Shuttle, or coordinating directly through the JW Marriott Resort concierge as rideshare pickup at SJD is restricted.
Getting Around
Uber is readily available throughout San José del Cabo and is an easy option for getting around during the wedding weekend.
Travel Note
After clearing customs and collecting your luggage at SJD, you’ll walk through an area where you may be approached by solicitors offering excursions, timeshares, or unauthorized transportation. We recommend simply continuing through without stopping or engaging with anyone in this area. Your pre arranged transportation will be waiting outside the terminal, so head straight for the exit and follow the meeting instructions provided by your transportation company.

From $300 / night/November 4 to 6, 2027
We have a reserved room block at the JW Marriott Los Cabos Beach Resort & Spa, which will serve as the main hub for our wedding weekend.
Located within the private Puerto Los Cabos community, the JW Marriott is approximately 30 minutes from SJD Airport. Transportation to and from the wedding will also depart and return to the JW Marriott, making this our recommended place to stay for the weekend.
Our room block rate will also be available for three nights before and three nights after our wedding weekend, so feel free to come early or stay a little longer.

Our wedding weekend will take place from Thursday, November 4th through Sunday, November 7th, 2027, in San José del Cabo, Mexico. The ceremony and reception will be held at Acre Resort, with additional celebrations planned throughout the weekend. Formal event details will follow with your invitation.
We recommend arriving on Wednesday, 11/3/2027, or Thursday, 11/4/2027, giving you plenty of time to settle in, relax, and get ready before joining us at the Welcome Party.
RSVPs open with your formal invitation. This site will be updated with an RSVP link at that time, so no need to do anything yet.
Full dress code will come with your invitation. In the meantime, think warm, bright, coastal, and elegant, and pack for beautiful sunshine and cool desert evenings.
Our room block is at the JW Marriott Los Cabos Beach Resort & Spa. See the Accommodation section above for rates and details. The rate will be live to book starting on November 20, 2026 until September 20, 2027.

Yes. Please make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond our travel dates. Keep in mind U.S. passport processing times take 4 to 6 weeks for routine service and 2 to 3 weeks for expedited service.
No, you do not strictly need to exchange money in Cabo because U.S. dollars and credit cards are widely accepted, but carrying some Mexican pesos can be useful in any non tourist areas and for tipping.
